More About Shakyamuni Buddha

Buddha is  an enlightened being is one who has realized the full potential of his/her inner being,has removed all the obscurations clouding the mind has developed all positive qualities to their fulest extent. Such an enlightened being is called Buddha: a fully awakened one. He is the founder of the world religion of Buddhism.He discovered the path to freedom from ignorance, craving and the cycle of rebirth and suffering. He was born in 563 B.C. in Lumbini, South Western part of Nepal. He had attained "Bodhi" or knowledge after 6 years deep meditation.
